PATIENT RESOURCES
Insurance & Payment Information
We want the financial side of psychiatric care to feel as clear and supported as the care itself. Below you will find the plans we accept, how to verify your benefits, self-pay options, and your rights to a Good Faith Estimate before your first appointment.
Insurance Plans
Beyond Healing Psychiatry is actively expanding the plans we are in-network with. Credentialing finalizes on a rolling basis, so the lists below reflect our current status. If you do not see your plan, please reach out, it may be in progress or available through a self-pay arrangement.
- Aetna
- Optum (UnitedHealthcare behavioral health)
- Cigna
- Anthem
- Cox Health
- Medicare
- Medicaid (MO HealthNet)
- Ambetter
Coverage for these plans is being finalized. Contact our office for the most current status.
Verify your benefits before your first visit. Insurance coverage for psychiatric and behavioral health services varies by plan. Our team is glad to verify your benefits and review any expected copay, coinsurance, or deductible with you before you are seen.
Call (417) 616-2914 or email Contact@psychiatry.beyondhealingcenter.com with your insurance details and we will take it from there.
Self-Pay & Private-Pay Options
If you are uninsured, out-of-network, or prefer not to use insurance, we offer self-pay options for both the initial psychiatric evaluation and ongoing medication management.
Self-pay rates depend on the type of visit. Please contact our office for current self-pay pricing and to receive a written Good Faith Estimate of your expected costs before scheduling. We are committed to clear, predictable pricing with no surprises.
Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate
Under the federal No Surprises Act, you have the right to know what your care will cost.
- If you are uninsured or choose not to use insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your psychiatric care will cost.
- You can ask Beyond Healing Psychiatry for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.
- If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may be able to dispute the bill.
- Keep a copy of your Good Faith Estimate for your records.
For questions about the No Surprises Act or to request an estimate, contact our office or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
Payment, Billing & Cancellations
Payment is collected at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made. We accept major credit and debit cards and HSA/FSA cards.
For details on our cancellation and missed-appointment policy, or any billing question, our office team is happy to help. Reaching out early is always welcome, and never a bother.
Still have questions about coverage?
Insurance, deductibles, and self-pay options can feel like a lot to sort through, and you do not have to figure it out alone. Our office staff can verify your benefits, explain your options, and walk you through what care will cost before you ever sit down with your provider. If you would rather talk to a person, we welcome the call.
